Check volume and increase if necessary.

Dirty battery contact

Replace battery with a discounted online order.

Open and close battery door four or five times.

Feedback (high-pitched whistling sound) when using telephone Slightly roll receiver away from ear. A specially designed soft-foam telephone pad may be appropriate if the feedback continues.
Distorted soundWeak battery
